			This part was the more challenging and you have to be careful to only change the number of the new hub.
			To find the number of the new hub, you can see it on /dev/serno/.

			And that's all. After this you can restore the box and enjoy your new cloned system.

L'objectiu d'aquest post és documentar com es copia un liveUSB a un altre o a un HD.

1) Es creen les particions del disc [en cas d'haver de redimensionar usarem gparted --revisar--].
Per a la copia es segueix el model de l'original.
En aquest cas el model gentoo amb quatre particions, el boot a la segona amb ext2, el swap a la tercera i a la quarta el lvm2 amb ext4.
Usarem parted.
La llista d'instruccions necessària és la següent:
# parted -a optimal [device]
> mklabel gpt
> unit mib
> mkpart primary 1 3
> name 1 grub
> set 1 bios_grub on
> mkpart primary 3 131
> name 2 boot
> mkpart primary 131 643
> name 3 swap
> mkpart primary 643 -1
> name 4 rootfs
> set 2 boot on

Per veure els resultats escrivim 'print', per sortir 'quit'.

Donem format a la segona partició mitjançant:
# mkfs.ext2 /dev/sda2

Activem el swap mitjançant:
# mkswap /dev/[particio]
# swapon /dev/[particio]

2) Copiem el boot i instal·lem el grub:
# mount /dev/[partition 2] /mnt
# rsync -axv --numeric-ids /boot/* /mnt/
# grub2-install --boot-directory=/mnt/ /dev/[device]

3) Gestió volums lògics lvm2.
Es creen els volums físics si es volen.
# pvcreate /dev/[particio]
# pvdisplay (veure volums creats)

Es crea els grup de volums 'vg0' amb el volum fisic /dev/sdc4
#vgcreate [nom_vg] /dev/[particio]

Es crea el volum lògic amb la capacitat del vg
#lvcreate -L 13G -n [nom_lv] [nom_vg]

Es crea el sistema de fitxers, per exemple ext4
# mkfs.ext4 /dev/[nom_vg]/[nom_lv]

3) Copia dels fitxers de l'original a la copia vigilant que es preservin els propietaris, els permisos, etc.
# mount /dev/[nom_vg]/[nom_lv] [punt_montatge]

Si estem realitzant la copia des d'un tercer sistema podem copiar-ho tot de cop, si estem realitzant la copia des del sitema que estem copiant hem de copiar les carpetes de l'arrel vigilant no copiar les carpetes generades automaticament -dev, run, proc, sys-; aquestes simplement les crearem amb mkdir.
# cd [punt_montatge]
# mkdir boot dev run proc sys media mnt
# rsync -axv --numeric-ids /bin /etc /home /lib /opt /root /sbin /usr /var .

4) Es configura el kernel per a que reconegui els volums lògics, creant un initramfs (aquest punt només hauria de ser necessari si clonem el sistema des d'un original que no usi lvm)
# genkernel --lvm initramfs (cal millorar per a que el nou initramfs no es mengi el vell)

5) Per a que el grub reconegui lvm afegeixo dolvm i rootfstype=ext4 a la variable GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX del fitxer /etc/default/grub

6) Es canvien els UUID a [punt_montatge]/etc/fstab de les particions originals a les noves particions.
Per tal de saber els UUID usem:
# blkid

7) Prenc nota del UUID de la partició del boot i de la del root tant del disc original com de la copia.

8) Després de desmontar totes les particions, enretiro el disc nou i l'instal·lo allà on el vull arrencar. L'arrenco.

9) Quan m'apareix el menu del grub. Premo la lletra 'e' per tal d'editar les instruccions. Si tot surt com el previst m'apareixerà un escrip amb dos UUID del disc original. He de canvair-los pels UUID del disc nou. Parant esment en què els que corresponien al boot segueixin corresponent al boot i el que corresponia al root segueixi corresponent al root del nou disc.
Una volta he acabat de fer això pitjo Ctrl-x per executar l'script i arrencar el sistema.

10) Una volta he arrencat el nou sistema executo:
# grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
Per tal de configurar correctament el grub i ja puc rebotar el sistema i arrencar normalment!

11) En darrer terme canvio el nom del nou sistema per a què no sigui el mateix que el nom del sistema clonat. Això ho aconsegueixo en els sistemes Gentoo en el fitxer /etc/conf.d/hostname. En altres sistemes el nom el podem trobar a /etc/hostname. També canviarem el nom al fitxer /etc/hosts.

I ja està! Ja podem disfrutar del nou sistema amb gestió de volums lògics i la mateixa configuració, dades i paquets que teniem en l'original.
