KIT CALAFOU

  • IMPRESCINDIBLE
    • linterna y/o frontal
    • ahuyentador de mosquitos para la piel (en verano)
    • protector solar para la piel (en verano)
    • sombrero, gorra o similar (en verano)
    • zapatillas comodas para terreno no asfaltado y barro (tipo trekking)
    • saco de dormir, esterilla y tienda de campaña (si duermes en zonas acampadas)
    • sabana para colchon (si duermes en alberge comunitario)
    • cantimplora o botella de agua
    • cuchara, tenedor, cuchillo, palillos (debido al gran numero de inscritxs no estamos seguras de tener para todas)
  • ÚTIL RECOMENDADO
    • traje de baño (en verano, hay una piscina pública a menos de un km de calafou, abierta de las 11h a las 19h. Cuesta 4.50 euros del lunes al viernes y 5.50 euros sábado y domingo, hay que registrarse antes de ir en https://www.equipamentsvallbonadanoia.cat/. Tambien hay algunas pozas de agua natural en la región)
    • guantes de trabajo
    • contenidos para compartir (libros, musica, videos, fanzines, etc)
    • dinero (en el pueblo de vallbona hay un cajero automático para sacar dinero)
    • regletas y/o alargadores de electricidad (para tus aparatos electrónicos)
    • auriculares (para escuchar lo que quieras sin molestar al resto)
    • cables ethernet y/o switches (si te conectas a la red por cable)
    • proyectores (para eventos en los que se usen)

NECESIDADES MATERIALES

Calafou siempre anda corto de alargadores y regletas de electricidad. Piensa en llevar contigo lo que puedas.

Si quieres hacer crecer el proyecto de Calafou con una colaboración material, esta edicion del Hack the Earth estamos buscando los siguientes materiales:

    • Radios (pequeñas, grandes, con despertador o sin, necesitamos radios de todos los formatos para instalarlas en los varios espacios y armar un sistema de transmisión de las charlas y conferencias por ondas de radio)
    • Teléfonos VOIP (también conocido como SIP phone o Softphone, utiliza Voice Over IP (VoIP) para realizar y transmitir llamadas telefónicas a través de una red IP, como Internet): Queremos remontar la centralita de llamadas de Calafou y por ello buscamos teléfonos VOIP para poder también distribuirlos en varios espacios de Calafou.
    • Maquinas de coser: Si tienes alguna que no utilizas, en Calafou la cuidaremos y daremos buen uso.


REGISTRO

Incluso si ya te has registrado en línea, cuando llegues a Calafou dirígete al punto de información (entrada centro social) para registrarte. Allí accederás a toda la información que necesitas, tus tickets de comida, comprobar la logística de los nodos e inscribirte para turnos de mantenimiento de los espacios y también puedes apuntarte como hada para los nodos: traducción, documentación

PRECIOS

Para esta edición proponemos crear una caja para cubrir las comidas con dos precios diferenciados.

Para las personas que sienten que su situación económica no es precaria, se piden XXXX euros al día (desayuno, comida, cena y cuota de mantenimiento).

Para las personas que tienen una situación precaria, se propone XXXX euros al día (desayuno, comida, cena y cuota de mantenimiento).

Lo recaudado se destinará a comprar comida para las jornadas y a cubrir gastos comunes (electricidad, agua, gas, internet, etc).

  • Se acepta moneda social 100%.

Recuerda que es un evento totalmente autogestionado y que estamos poniendo todas nuestras fuerzas para que sea accesible para todxs! Cualquier donación extra es bienvenida!

DONDE/ LLEGAR Puedes llegar a Calafou en coche, en tren, desde el aeropuerto, caminando, en bici. Camí de Ca la Fou, s/n. CP: 08785 | Vallbona d´Anoia (Barcelona)

- Llegar por coche/furgoneta: Si vienes en coche, no pongas en el GPS calafou directamente porque te mandara encima del puente de la C15, pon en el buscador "poligono la plana en vallabona d'anoia". Al llegar a Calafou encontraras indicaciones acerca de donde aparcarlo. Si vienes en furgoneta y piensas dormir en ella durante el encuentro, tendremos una zona reservada para tal uso dentro del espacio de Calafou.

-Llegar desde el aeropuerto el prat de Barcelona: Desde el aeropuerto de Barcelona (“El Prat”) la opcion mas directa es tomar el Autobus L77. Los horarios se encuentran aquí. Sale desde el Terminal 1 y tienes que bajarte en la parada de bus en Sant Boi que queda en frente de la estación de tren FGC.

Baja en la estación de tren y compra un billete para Vallbona d'Anoia, coge el tren R6 o R60 dirección a Igualada, bájate en Vallbona d'Anoia.

Si no hubiera Autobús L77, puedes coger el Aerobus. Billetes: ida 5.9€, ida y vuelta 10.20€, los billetes se venden en el bus, se tarda media hora en llegar a Barcelona. Frecuencia de autobús es cada 20 minutos entre las 6am y media noche.

Bájate en la primera parada: Plaça Espanya y ve a la estación de tren FGC debajo de la plaza

- Llegar en tren desde Barcelona: Puedes llegar desde Barcelona en ferrocarriles FGC R6 o R60, llegar directamente del aeropuerto (si es el caso), o puedes venir en coche, tendremos una zona de parquing.

   Aqui encuentras los horarios del tren FGC R6 o R60.
   Desde Plaça Espanya toma el R6/R60 a “Igualada”: El primer tren suele salir a las 5h30AM y el ultimo sale a las 22PM. ATENCIÓN: necesitas un billete de “5 ZONAS”. Los billetes son vendidos delante de la entrada en las máquinas FGC. Sale mas o menos cada hora, poco después de en-punto, tarda 1 hora y 20 minutos en llegar a Vallbona d'Anoia.
   Bájate en Vallbona d’Anoia: Sigue las indicaciones CALAFOU en el pueblo. Hay que caminar hacia el fondo del valle, hacia el bosque, hacia el polígono industrial La Plana. Cuando llegas al poligono hay una carretera asfaltada que baja en el valle, siguela hasta el final, curza el rio y llegas a Calafou. La gente local debería ser capaz de darte indicaciones.

- LLegar caminando

Eres muy valiente :-) Desde Barcelona, son 10 horas mas o menos con bastantes subidas por las montañas. La distancia: 51km. Tiempo: 10:14. Ascenso: 897m. Descenso: 716m. Puedes utilizar este enlace para obtener las mejores indicaciones, evitando las grandes carreteras y los caminos más fáciles.

- Llegar en bicicleta

Es posible venir en bicicleta, pero deberás tener una bicicleta relativamente buena y estar preparada para soportar algunas subidas. Distancia desde Barcelona: 55 km. Tiempo: 3:47. Ascenso: 877m. Descenso: 696m. Como a pie, puedes seguir este enlace para conseguir un camino fácil. No hay tiendas de bicicletas en el pueblo más cercano, así que recuerda llevar una rueda de repuesto y herramientas básicas para arreglar tu bicicleta por si acaso.

COCINA & LIMPIEZA

Para HTE, la cooperativa La conquista del pan nos prepara las comidas. No obstante gestionaremos entre todas servir la comida, limpiar y mantener los espacios aseados.

COMIDA

Todas las comidas serán vegetarianas incluyendo una opción vegana. Fuera de los horarios de comida y cena, se podrán comprar otras cosas en el centro social.

ALOJAMIENTO

Trae por lo menos un colchoneta y un saco de dormir y si es posible una tienda de campaña.

ASEOS

  • Mea en el bosque
  • Caga en los aseos indicados
  • Prefiere los lavabos secos a los retretes
  • Hay un lavabo seco cerca de la casa verde, CAGAFOU, y varios ecosecs en el espacio
  • Hay dos baños en el fondo del centro social
  • Hay un baño en medio de los talleres de madera

BASURAS

  • No dejes nada detrás tuyo
  • Toda la basura debe ir en los contenedores apropiados dentro de los edificios (centro social, espacios utilizados durante el encuentro).
  • Si estas fuera usa los ceniceros que hemos depositado en diferentes lugares.
  • Cualquier otro efecto, tienes que cogerlos de vuelta contigo y depositarlos en los contenedores preparados a tal efecto.
  • Si te vas de calafou en coche, llévate por favor parte de la basura que se deposita en la entrada. Si te vas a pie, llévate lo que puedas (empezando por tu propia basura).

SEGURIDAD

  • NO HAGAS FUEGO BAJO NINGUNA CIRCUNSTANCIAS
  • Si no conoces Calafou, no camines por la noche sin una linterna
  • Hay un botiquín de primeros auxilios en el infopoint.

MASCOTAS_NO!

Animales (comúnmente perros o gatos): Te pedimos expresamente que NO los traigas. En calafou hay gatos y perros y no queremos más, ni de visita. Ya nos es difícil encontrar un equilibrio entre ellos y las gallinas y la fauna salvaje de los alrededores. Sería un problema y nos generará discusiones internas. Agradecemos que entiendas y que te apañes en dejarlo en otro sitio mientras nos visites.

Hay jabalíes en la zona, te pedimos encarecidamente no darles de comida, y te avisamos de que es mejor que no dejes comida dentro de tu tienda porque esto podría motivar los jabalíes a intentar entrar en tu tienda.

CULTURA LIBRE

Calafou esta totalmente volcado en el desarrollo y protección de la cultura libre. Por ello si quieres producir un articulo, pieza audiovisual o cualquier otro tipo de producción multimedia acerca de las jornadas y/o calafou tendrás que liberar ese material bajo una licencia libre. Lee por favor nuestro [1].

No tomes fotos o vídeos de las personas sin pedirles permiso antes. Pregunta siempre antes de darle al botón de grabar

CONTEXTO

Calafou es un proyecto eco-industrial, no es un proyecto agrícola, ni una eco-aldea, ni un proyecto de salud, ni lugar de retiro para trabajar la espiritualidad o lo existencial. No es un lugar idílico por su naturaleza y entorno aunque trabajemos todxs para que algún día llegue a serlo.

ACUERDO PARA LAS JORNADAS

  • De lxs participantes se espera un trato reciproco de respeto, tanto con las personas como con las instalaciones, y ayudar proactivamente a crear un ambiente acogedor. Si observas, ves o vives un comportamiento que no cumpla con esta norma, por favor, manifiestalo de una manera en que todxs podamos generar una respuesta, y así crear un espacio tan acogedor y seguro como esperamos que sea.
  • Cualquier tipo de agresividad general y falta de respeto gratuito será profundamente reprobado. No toleraremos cualquier forma de acoso, o falta de respeto a ninguna persona. Acoso Incluye: comentarios ofensivos basados en las identidades de género, orientación sexual, etnicidad, clase, aspecto físico, incapacidad, religión y condición económica social, incluyendo intimidación, persecución, fotografías o vídeo sin acuerdo previo, invasión y contacto físico indeseado. No te vamos a invitar a salir, te vamos a patear directamente fuera. En resumen, si te comportas como un gilipollas, calafou no es el sitio adecuado para ti.

MATERIAL NEEDS Calafou is always short of extension power strips and multiplugs. Please bring them with you if you can. You can also help grow Calafou with a material collaboration, we are looking this year for the following:

    • Radios (small, large, with alarm clock or without, we need radios of all formats to install them in the various spaces and to set up a system of transmission of the talks and conferences by radio waves)
    • VOIP phones (also known as SIP phone or Softphone, use Voice Over IP (VoIP) to make and transmit phone calls over an IP network, such as the Internet): We want to upgrade the call center of Calafou and therefore we look for phones VOIP to be able to also distribute them in several spaces of Calafou.

REGISTER Even if you have already registered online, when arriving to Calafou go to the Infopoint (entrance social center) and register. There you will get to all the info you need, purchase your food tickets, check nodes logistics, list yourself for the collaborative tasks in turns (cooking, cleaning, and also for be a fairy for the nodes: translation, documentation).

PRICES

For this edition we propose to create a resistance box to cover meals with two different prices.

For people who feel that their economic situation is not precarious, 15 euros a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner and maintenance fee).

For people who have a precarious situation, 12 euros a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner and maintenance fee).

The proceeds will be used to buy food for the day and to cover common expenses (electricity, water, gas, internet, etc).

    • Remember this is a totally DIY autonomous event and we are putting all our strength to make it accessible to all!

Any extra donation is welcome!

You will also be able to buy beer, sodas and extras at the bar. If you wish, they are also books, zines, and more that you can buy at the infopoint.

How to come to Calafou ?

There are several ways of coming to Calafou. You can reach Calafou by car, train or from the airport.

- Arriving by car/van: If you come by car, do not put in the GPS calafou directly because it will send you over the bridge of the C15, put in the search engine "poligono la plana en vallabona d'anoia". When you get to Calafou you will find indications about where to park it. If you come by van and you plan to sleep in it during the meeting, we will have an area reserved for such use within the space of Calafou.

-Arriving from Barcelona's El Prat airport: From Barcelona airport ("El Prat") the most direct option is to take the L77 bus schedules can be found here. It leaves from Terminal 1 and you have to get off at the bus stop in Sant Boi which is in front of the FGC train station.

Get off at the train station and buy a ticket for Vallbona d'Anoia, take the R6 or R60 train towards Igualada, get off at Vallbona d'Anoia.

If there is no L77 bus, you can take the Aerobus. Tickets: one way 5.9€, round trip 10.20€, tickets are sold on the bus, it takes half an hour to get to Barcelona. Bus frequency is every 20 minutes between 6am and midnight.

Get off at the first stop: Plaça Espanya and go to the FGC train station below the square.

- Arriving by train from Barcelona: You can arrive from Barcelona by FGC railroads R6 or R60, arrive directly from the airport (if it is the case), or you can come by car, we will have a parking area.

   Here you can find the FGC R6 or R60 train timetable.
   From Plaça Espanya take the R6/R60 to "Igualada": The first train usually leaves at 5h30AM and the last one leaves at 22PM. ATTENTION: you need a "5 ZONE" ticket. Tickets are sold in front of the entrance at the FGC machines. It leaves about every hour, shortly after en-punto, it takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to Vallbona d'Anoia.
   Get off at Vallbona d'Anoia: Follow the signs CALAFOU in the village. You have to walk towards the bottom of the valley, towards the forest, towards the industrial estate La Plana. When you get to the industrial estate there is an asphalt road that goes down into the valley, follow it to the end, cross the river and you arrive at Calafou. The local people should be able to give you directions.
By foot

You are very couragous. From Barcelona, it's a 10 hour climb across the mountains. Distance: 51km. Time: 10:14. Ascend: 897m. Descend: 716m. You can use this link to get the best directions, avoiding big roads and the easiest paths.

By bike

Coming by bike is possible, but you will need to have a relatively good bike, and be ready to endure some climbing. Distance: 55km. Time: 3:47. Ascend: 877m. Descend: 696m. As by foot, you can follow this link to get an easy path. They are no bike shops at the closest village, so remember to take a spare tire and basic tools to fix your bike in case.


KITCHEN AND CLEANING For the open events, the cooperative La conquista del pan will prepares our meals. Nevertheless we will serve the foods, clean and maintain the spaces tidy together. We all look after the common spaces. The are "Clean points" in the social center where you can find brooms, sponges and such. They also is a kitchen in the Hackuina, with a fridge, stoves, microwave, boiler and such.

FOOD All meals will be vegetarian and will include a vegan option. Outside of lunch and dinner hours, other goods will be available in the social center.

LODGING You will need at least a mat and a sleeping bag. Bring a tent if you want. The camping zone is shaded during the morning, but gets pretty hot around noon in the summer.

TOILETS

  • Piss in the woods
  • Shit in the toilets
  • Prefer compost toilet over water closets
  • There are three compost toilet, CAGAFOU and different ecosecs in the space
  • There are two toilets in the back of the social centre
  • There is one toilet in the middle of the wood workshops. Beware, it's not built to shit in it.

TRASH

  • Do not leave anything below you.
  • All trash should go to the appropriate bins inside buildings (social center, spaces used during the encounter).
  • If you are outside you will find ashtrays in different places, please use those. Beware of the wind if you use a small ash tray.
  • As a rule of thumb, any other effects should be taken back with you and deposited in the approriate bins prepared to that effect.
  • If leaving calafou by car, please take with you part of the trash that is deposited in the entrance bin. If leaving calafou by foot, take whatever you can.
  • They are trash bins in the village, and a dump nearby.

SECURITY

  • NO FIRE under any circumstances
  • If you do not know Calafou, do not walk by night without a torch
  • There is a first urgency aid kit in the infoshop.

PETS We ask you please not to bring them. Calafou has dogs and cats and don’t want more, not even as temporary guests. It is already difficult to find a balance between them and the chicken and geese and the wild life that surrounds us. It will be a problem and will create lots of debate. We hope you understand and find a place for them to stay before coming to Calafou.

There are wild boars in the area, we urge you not to give them food, and we warn you that it is better not to leave food inside your tent because this could motivate wild boars to try to enter into your tent.

FREE CULTURE Calafou is completely devoted to free culture protection and advancement. So if you want to produce an article, audiovisual work or any other multimedia production about the open days and / or calafou you will have to release and share those materials under a free license.   • Attendees are expected to treat all people and facilities with respect and help create a welcoming environment. If you notice behavior that fails to meet this standard, please speak up and help keep the event as respectful as we expect it to be.
  • Any kind of general hatefulness and disrespect will be deeply disapproved. We will not invite you to leave, we will directly kick you out. Long story short, if you behave like an ass-hole, calafou is just not the right place for you.
  • Open events are self managed. We are not service providers, we all cook, recycle, clean, document, inform, take care of the temporal autonomous community we have achieved and have fun together!
